If you’re ever wondered if a person can have too much yarn, I’m here to tell you probably not. See it all started when my daughter got married and moved out. I had a couple or three tubs of yarn stored in my walk-in closet. I was so happy to get them out of there and put them in her room.
Then I found Etsy, and my crocheting took on a whole new dimension. I needed to be able to find my yarn easier. So I went and bought storage units. After all, I had a whole room that I could use.
Well at first they weren’t full and I put fabric and other things in them to fill them up. Well what happened next could be considered a good thing (by me). All of the local craft stores around me, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Joanns all ran clearance on their yarn. Needless to say the storage units are full now and so is half of a bookcase in the room and a large storage box that sits by my bed. Oh, and 4 tubs. Did you know that people sell yarn at yard sales for practically nothing. I have to buy it. It needs to be saved.
My family thinks I’m addicted. I say I can stop anytime. As long as I don’t go anywhere that sells yarn. 🙂 Keep a watch out in my Etsy shop. You never know what you’ll find there when you visit. I do use the yarn, just not as quickly as I buy it. But, if I ever get snowed in, I’ll have plenty to keep me busy.
