It’s January 29th. My grandson is due February 2nd. Now I know that it’s not even time for him to be here yet, but here’s why my daughter is so frustrated. In December, her doctors were telling her that she wasn’t going to be able to stretch much further. The 1st week in January she was told she was ready any day. It wouldn’t be long. The 2nd week she was told she was even closer and to be ready and get to the hospital quickly if she went into labor.
So I wanted anxiously by the phone. And waited. The 3rd week she was told that February 2nd still looked like a great date to expect the baby. The 4th week it was back to any day. Who knows what they’ll say Tuesday when she goes to the doctor.
The moral of the story: Never believe a baby doctor. They have no idea when the baby is coming. Only God does. But I still can’t wait to meet him. Come on Stephen Mark. Grandma is waiting with open arms.
With my first my doctor told me she was sure I was going early. I went one day late, and cried my whole due date! I started to wonder if they would end up inducing and kept saying he will come out at some point! I kept praying, and when he came he came fast (3 hrs 10 min from 1st contraction to birth). You are right, God knows! Sometimes I wish he would tell us though LOL
